1. What is your screenplay about?

The story is about a scientist who is trying to impress a girl with his inventions which is blogs about.

2. What genres does your screenplay fall under?

This screenplay is a comedy that is very meta. The humour in this screenplay is twofold as every joke is both a pun and also taken more literally than audiences would expect it to be. It is very visual and a lot of the comedy is physical.

3. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

It would be a very interesting challenge for any director to try an bring the larger than life aspects to screen and portray them in a way that is believable to audiences who will have certain expectations for the type of world the film is set in.

4. How would you describe this script in two words?

very literally

5. What movie have you seen the most times in your life?

Taken starring Liam Neeson

6. How long have you been working on this screenplay?

I wrote the first draft over a period of three months but have since revisited it constantly to tweak an improve over two years now.

7. How many stories have you written?

I have written a handful of of short films as I prefer the format over longer stories because it is easier or me to fine tune every single detail and make every single word count.

8. What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the most times in your life?)

All Star by Smashmouth is my go-to Karaoke song.

9. What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

Making the hard choice to cut scenes and lines because they were not up to the same standard as the rest of the screenplay despite the fact that I liked a lot of them.

10. Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

I enjoy photography and photo editing. I love using photoshop and editing pictures is a hobby of mine.

11. You entered your screenplay via FilmFreeway. What has been your experiences working with the submission platform site?

It has been very hit and miss for me, personally.

12. What influenced you to enter the festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?

I’m glad I took the opportunity to enter and I’m happy that it was actually performed too!
