Get to know the writer:

What is your screenplay about?

In a trilogy of interwoven stories, three 30 something Atlanta women struggle to maintain their complicated relationships.

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

I would classify this tale as a romantic dramedy.

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

I feel the universal theme of love and happiness combined with rich, real, and relatable characters will be a hit with audiences.

How would you describe this script in two words?

Two words to describe this story is Funny and Real.

What movie have you seen the most times in your life?

Hmm, I have several films I have watched a lot. But to pick one, I’d say today it’s “True Romance” directed by Tony Scott. Tomorrow it may be something else.

How long have you been working on this screenplay?

I’ve worked on this script for the past 4 years.

How many stories have you written?

I’ve written 5 other screenplays of many different genres, as well as created and wrote a 10 episode crime drama series.

What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the most times in your life?)

I have many favorites so like my movies, I can’t pick just one. So I will say “I Can’t Help It” by MJ; “Mountains (extended 10 minute version)” by Prince; and “Two Dope Boyz (In A Cadillac)” by Outkast.

What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

During the completion writing of this screenplay, I faced personal family conflict, a bitter breakup from a true love ending in court, a reluctant move to another state, and a loss of employment. But I prevailed!

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

In addition to writing screenplays, I also have a love for writing, producing, and recording music.
