Director Biography – Paul Rodriguez

I wrote my first short film in 2012 , called The Widow, which I directed and produced with no prior experience. It was accepted at some major film festivals. I’m proud to say that all my films since have gained festival attention which I’ve always enjoyed attending. Comedy and suspense are two genres I find fascinating.

Director Statement

Spot the Indifference is about paying attention to things we love and what we risk losing by not being in the moment.
The Spanish music is designed to evoke the feeling of a ‘bull fight’ and the winner is the one who pays the most attention. The visual comedy is an important part and the role of the barista is key.
