Get to know the winning writer:

What is your screenplay about?

TREVOR AND EVOR is about two stoner friends who set out to revolutionize the food home delivery industry and now have to navigate the stresses of running a small business while still trying to stay true to their original ideals. Their dream delivery job is taking over their lives…

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

Absurd, comedy, drama

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

I don’t think it would suit the movie format. It’s style/form better suits a web series. Or does it? There’s a nice Dude Where’s my Car feel to it.

How would you describe this script in two words?

Strangely engaging.

What movie have you seen the most times in your life?

Glengarry Glen Ross, Life of Brian, What about Bob?

How long have you been working on this screenplay?

A week.

How many stories have you written?

A few TV pilots, Short Movies and Web Series.

What motivated you to write this screenplay?

I was at home desperately craving some Peking Duck to go with the wine I was drinking. And then I got thinking…

What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

The major obstacle was knowing “How much” I should give the audience so they come back, as I only wanted to use 4 pages max.

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

Wine, beach, napping.

Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?

Just finish it. Then write something else.
