Director Statement
I wanted the film to be as honest and as real as possible. I incorporated natural lighting and handheld camerawork to reflect this. The long take shows the reality of the situation and the frantic behaviour of the character. This is Seann’s story, so I let him dictate the performance but I encouraged him to go off script and react to the distractions around him in a natural way. I feel that this all results in a film that is honest and truthful.
