Anson Williams is one of the most prolific and talented Producer-Directors working in television today. Though he is best known to television audiences as Potsie, from the popular ABC television series “HAPPY DAYS”, these days, Anson is usually found behind the camera, having directed more than 200 hours of prime-time television for CBS, NBC, UPN, FOX, ABC and ABC FAMILY.
Anson’s body of work includes directing for CHARMED, LOVE BOAT: THE NEXT WAVE, STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE, 7th HEAVEN, XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS, BEVERLY HILLS 90210, MELROSE PLACE, L.A. LAW, DIAGNOSIS MURDER, CLUELESS, STAR TREK VOYAGER, PROFILER and JUST THE TEN OF US.
Most recently, Anson’s directing can be seen on THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER and SONS AND DAUGHTERS.
Anson has also written and directed numerous TV movies and feature films. He’s worked with hundreds of stars and created the critically acclaimed LONE STAR KID for PBS.
